The Meteorological Department is looking at the possibility of another depression in the Bay of Bengal this week. As a result, meteorologists have forecast rain in several districts including Chittagong.

They say it will rain normally after the depression in the Bay of Bengal. The clearer the cloudy sky when the depression is over, the colder the winter will be in this town.

Saturday (November 21) evening meteorologist said. Muhammad Shahidul Islam told banglanews this information. 

He said dry weather with partly cloudy sky may prevail in Chittagong in the next 24 hours. There may be light to moderate rain in some places with temporary gusts. 

Dr. Muhammad Shahidul Islam said that at this time the wind may blow from the north / north-west at a speed of 8-12 km per hour. Which will gradually move north / northeast. 

 

'There is a depression in the Bay of Bengal. It may actually rain for the next few days near our coast. After the rain the sky will be clear from the clouds. Winter will come. The average temperature will drop to 5 degrees Celsius. '     

The sky in Chittagong was cloudy since Saturday morning. Although light sunshine appears in some places, it gets cold with light wind everywhere. The cold gets worse after dusk.    

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Chittagong on Saturday was 31.9 degrees Celsius, which is 2.1 degrees Celsius higher than normal.

On the other hand, the minimum temperature was 21.1 degrees Celsius, which is 0.6 degrees Celsius higher than normal.
