Interference with freedom of speech is unacceptable. Digital platforms like Google, Facebook or Twitter made from Pakistan if needed.  The Asian Internet Coalition (AIC) sent a strong message to the Pakistani government on behalf of these three organizations.

Recently, Imran Khan's government has decided to monitor the digital content in the world of internet.  If necessary, the regulator will have the right to cut the content.  There may be fines.  It is even threatened with a fine of Rs 3.14 million, more than Rs 23 crore in Indian currency if any anti-Islamic comments are found in these media.  Internet giants are keeping a close eye on this attempt to curb freedom of speech.

It has been strongly condemned by the Asia Internet Coalition, a joint platform of companies such as Google, Facebook and Twitter.  According to the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2018, as a result of this law, there is no free internet system.  As a result, the existence of Internet companies will not be the same as before.  Informed quarters are advising the Pak government to reconsider this law in order to maintain the existence of Pakistani citizens in the net world.
